Practicing Awe | Meditative Mat Flow
With Serena Roschman| 55 minutes
This slow, prop-supported practice invites you to meet your energy exactly as it is and move with curiosity rather than push. Inspired by Andrea Gibson’s poem Acceptance Speech After Setting the World Record in Goosebumps, we explore how awe, gratitude, and tenderness can live in the body.
Through strap-assisted stretches, flowing bridges, supported lunges, and mindful transitions, you’ll be guided to find an even, easeful stretch instead of chasing your edge. Along the way, you’ll play with “Boundary Warrior” movements to welcome what nourishes and protect what needs space.
Perfect for days when you want grounding, gentle mobility, and a reconnection to what’s going right in your body. All levels welcome. Props encouraged: strap (or belt/scarf), blanket, bolster or pillows, and blocks.
